A313 is a pharmaceutical-grade vitamin A & Retinol Cream
This oily (pommade means ointment) contains 0.12% of the mildest forms of vitamin A, called retinol esters. 0.12% of retinol esters is not the same as a 0.1% of pure retinoic acid.
Beneficial for:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Pigmentation (also for post-acne marks)
- Acne, oily skin, blackheads
- Actinic keratosis
Directions
Ointment A313Â without prescription is for cutaneous use only.
We recommend applying this restorative ointment locally 2 to 3 times a week until skin has built up a tolerance, then use nightly.
The lesions of irritant dermatitis are secondary to skin contact with an irritant. They are characterized by lesions of highly variable appearance, ranging from simple redness to the formation of bubbles or even necrosis, accompanied by tingling, itching or a burning sensation.
A313 Precautions for use
- If you have sensitive skin, an infection, open grooves (sores), or oozing dermatoses, don’t use this lotion.
- Consult the leaflet for a list of precautions and possible side effects.
- Vitamin A is present in many medications, some of which are also used for self-medication. Avoid combining these medicines with this one because the overdose of vitamin A isn’t safe and could cause some serious side effects. Be sure to take the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor.
- Risk of hypervitaminosis A: Be careful when using this product. It contains Vitamin A which may pass into the blood stream, so use it sparingly. Do not apply near large areas of skin, under a band-aid, on broken skin, or on a mucous membrane. In addition there are warning labels for people with specific conditions such as premature babies and very young children to avoid this product entirely
- Like all medicines and sweets containing non-absorbable sugars (e.g., sorbitol and maltitol), there is a possibility of diarrhea when consuming high amounts.
A313 and Pregnancy
This drug should only be used during pregnancy if necessary and never combined with other agents containing vitamin A.
A313 and Breastfeeding
Do not apply to the breasts during breastfeeding because of the risk of ingestion by the newborn.
